Justice Ban Seshasayana Reddy enrolled as an advocate on July 26, 1976 and practiced at Kurnool and Nandyal. He was appointed as District and Sessions Judge (Grade-II) in May 1990 and promoted as District and Sessions Judge (Grade-I) in May 1997; served in that capacity at Prakasam District (Ongole), E.G. District (Rajahmundry) and Rangareddy District (Saroornagar). Justice Ban Seshasayana Reddy was elevated as an additional judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on December 2, 2002. He was appointed to the National Green Tribunal as a Judicial Member on September 12, 2013 his tenure ended on October 24, 2013.
