Ms. Sheetal Sharma, former Deputy Registrar at the Principal Bench of the National Green Tribunal was a judicial officer from the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services (HPJS). Ms. Sheetal Sharma joined the HPJS in the year 2004, and has since served on various judicial posts including judicial magistrate-cum -civil judge, rent Controller and sub-divisional chairman of the Legal Services Authority. She gained experience in legal research and training as the Deputy Director of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy, in Shimla. Ms. Sheetal Sharma joined the Principal Bench of the NGT on deputation in 2013 and had managed its Judicial Branch. She headed the publication division and was the editor of the National Green Tribunal International Journal on Environment, the NGT Reporter, the NGT Reports & Recommendation Booklet, and the Coffee Table Book on NGT. Ms. Sheetal Sharma was in-charge of E-court, video conferencing and technology as well library. She was head of the Computer Branch and the Law and Research Division. She has been repatriated to her Parent Cadre on 30.12.2017.
