Shri Rajesh Kumar Agarwal was born on 15^th October, 1971 at Bhagalpur District Bihar. He did his schooling from St. Xavier’s School Sahibganj (Jharkhand) and Delhi Public School R.K. Puram New Delhi. He did his five years Law from Tilka Manjhi University Bhagalpur.

He got enrolled with the District Bar Association of Bhagalpur and practiced as an Advocate in District Court of Bhagalpur in Civil and Criminal sides before joining Madhya Pradesh Judicial Service.

He joined Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services in 2004 and worked as Civil Judge (Jr. Division) in Sonkatch, Dewas, Khachrod (Ujjain), Budhni (Sehore) and as Civil Judge (Sr. Division) Budhni, Bhopal, Gadarwara (Narsinghpur) and as Chief Judicial Magistrate in Panna District. Promoted as Additional District & Sessions Judge on 03.01.2018 and worked in Basoda (Vidisha) & Chhatarpur  and dealt with Civil and Criminal cases. Worked as exclusive Special (POCSO) Judge in Basoda and Chhatarpur.

He joined as Registrar, National Green Tribunal, Central Zone Bench, Bhopal on 01.05.2023. He has been repatriated to his Parent Cadre on 10.02.2025.
